Messages — chat with other Divergify users

An internal chat channel: real-time conversations with other Divergify users, on the board next to everything else.

Using it

New chat, search for someone by name, start typing. Messages arrive live — no refreshing. Select a conversation from the list to carry on with it.

One widget per channel

Messages is multi-instance: add several tiles and rename each one so you know what it is. More channels are on the way; each new one becomes its own tile rather than a tab buried inside a single widget.

What is not connected

Some channels are marked as unavailable rather than hidden, and it is worth knowing why:

• iMessage — Apple offers no web API for it. It works only on Apple devices, so no web app can carry it. The widget says so instead of leaving you wondering.
• Other channels show "coming soon" until their integration lands.

A greyed-out channel is a statement about the platform, not a bug on your side.
