Mood & Energy — a check-in, not a diary
Log how you feel in two taps; the app uses it to stop suggesting work you don't have the fuel for.
Two taps: how you feel, and how much energy you have. Add a note if you want. That is the whole interaction.
What it is for
It is an input, not a record you are supposed to admire. Your energy level feeds the Cockpit's "one thing now" pick, which is what stops the app suggesting a two-hour deep-work task on an afternoon where you have twenty minutes of brain left.
Log "low" and the suggestions shrink to match, with the reason shown: Low energy — go gentle. That is not the app giving up on you; it is the app agreeing with you.
History
The History tab keeps your past check-ins so you can look back if you want to. There is no chart of your worst weeks, no trend line, no "you have been low for 6 days" warning. If you find a pattern in it, that is yours to find.
In the Cockpit
The Energy cell shows your last check-in and how long ago it was, and you can check in directly from there without opening the widget: press the cell and answer could you start something demanding?
An old check-in is treated as a weak signal rather than a current fact — the app knows that this morning's energy says little about right now.
