Calendar — your agenda on the board

The Calendar widget shows what is coming and lets you add to it without leaving the board. It reads from Google Calendar once you connect it — see Connect Google Calendar. Until you do, it runs on a small demo agenda so you can see the shape of it.

The card

The square tile lists your next events, each with its time and title, and the header counts how many are upcoming. Click anywhere on it to open the full view.

The full view

• Views — Day, 3 days, Week, Month. Use the arrows to move through time.
• Calendars — if your Google account has several (personal, work, a shared family one), pick which ones to display. My calendars and Other calendars are listed separately.
• Search — find an event by title across everything loaded.
• Open in Google Calendar — for anything this view doesn't cover.

Create an event

Press Create an event, or click an empty slot in the day/week grid. Fill in:

• Title, Start and End — the only required fields.
• Location — an address, or a video-call link.
• Calendar — which of your calendars it goes on.
• Colour and Notes.

Press Create event and it is written to Google immediately. Everything else that reads your agenda — the Cockpit's Next cell, the Today strip, reminders — updates at once rather than waiting for its next refresh.

Edit or move an event

Click an event to open it, change what you need, press Save changes. In the week and day views you can also drag an event to another slot. If the move fails (no permission on that calendar, or the network dropped), the event snaps back where it was and tells you — it never leaves you thinking something moved when it didn't.

Opening an existing event never puts the cursor in its title. Only a new event's form autofocuses — so the first key you press cannot rename something you just opened to look at.

Recurring events

Repeating events are shown and marked as recurring. Editing the series is done in Google Calendar itself; from here you are looking at the occurrences.

What it needs

Nothing at all to look around. To see your real agenda, connect Google — one button in the widget, and you can disconnect whenever you like.
